Hello, is there anyone in the New Jersey area that could help me? I need to

Hello, is there anyone in the New Jersey area that could help me? I need to move my storage from Brooklyn, NY ASAP!! It's set to go to auction next week and I need to take everything to Lakewood, NJ where I'm located. I can only pay $60-$70. I don't have much in storage- No furniture or anything like that just important documents, clothes etc. I can do all the moving myself I just need a van or truck or whatever you have available Would someone Please contact me: dreamin_k@mail.com. I've lost a lot to come back to the Northeast for this storage and would be devastated to lose anything else. Thanks.

What's on your heart and mind today?

Would anybody in any of the Tri-state: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or any of the close by Northeast states- Massachusetts, etc., be able to offer me a room and board situation?

I am a very hard working 36 year old female, with an easy-going personality, a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am a former New York City resident currently living in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the past four months. I have been working for room and board as an Aide for a couple with disabilities. I do all the housekeeping as well as helping with the cooking.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a part-time job here in New Mexico in order to have a supplemental income, and because of a storage issue, I am now set to arrive back in New York City on April 29th. A room and board farm worker position in Connecticut fell through for me yesterday when the farm manager got a response from the couple she had previously offered the position to decided to accept after all. Since I have no previous farm experience and she was getting two people with experience in farming she went with them.

I'm now scrambling to find another R&B farm work job that's either in or close to New York, because it's the farm hiring season, but I already have my bus ticket for tomorrow, April 27th and will be in NYC on the 29th with no place to stay. I am willing to provide a photo and job references.

You will never regret it, I am hard working with a very easygoing personality. Please contact me as soon as possible either through Aidpages or at dreamin_k@mail.com

Thank you.

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to Cookielover...   Thank you for the encouragement. It will be so great if I ever get those bills paid :-) I think so many people don't realize it takes time to really build a friendship. But that girl sounds a bit to emotionally unstable. It sounds as though she really does feel bad about what she did to you but she should understand it will take time for you to trust her as a friend again. I hope she'll be alright, but she need to not threaten to hurt herself to get your friendship back. That's a bit manipulative. I hope you'll be able to get through to her. Take care.

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to Inspiration...   Your help is the reason I have a stay of execution on my storage auction after contacting the company heads. Now scheduled for May. But still looking for paid work, like everyone else. It's great advice to always try the top Executives. Thanks again. Like dogeatdog says you are a tireless angel!

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to lunar*star...   Hi, just wanted to let you know you are thought of and your kind words were appreciated. Was a bit bummed out today because I didn't receive that job i interviewed for. I have another interview coming up on Thursday though, but the rejections get a bit tiring.
Anyway, I found this in your state and hope it's helpful in some way. Take care.

EARN-2-BIKES PROGRAM AS SOLUTION:

Earn-2-Bikes uses the approach of building social networks to encourage biking, as studies show that people are more likely to be active if a friend or family member joins them in exercise. It includes:

a six-week class that teaches basic bike maintenance, safety skills, and provides two free bikes to two people completing the class together
Funding for this project was provided in part by The Missouri Foundation for Health. The Earn-2-Bikes program is modeled after St. Louis Bicycle Works Earn-A-Bike Program. Bikes for the program were provided in part by St. Louis Bicycle Works.

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to Cookielover...   I'm trying to hang in there. Today, with all my doubts crowding in & feeling things are just not going my way, i took a few hours to just stop feeling anxious. I told myself I was just going to stop worrying about unpaid bills for the hours i sat in that little park. It was such a good feeling that when i left and went home and immediately start back with the worries, I carried a little bit of that peace with me too and didn't feel as stressed out as usual.

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to maggielynn1...   Hi Maggie Lynn, sad to hear you're feeling so poorly. I use to go to the public library to do my printing (& also to use the computer). I hope, maybe, there's one close to where you live. They never use to charge for printing but in recent yrs they've started charging from $0.10-$0.15. I'll keep you in my prayers for the printer. Stay strong.

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to maggielynn1...   So glad to find your spirits up. I know the spirit of God lives in your heart and is there helping you through these very difficult times. Your animal people sound so wonderful. They are there to comfort you when the human people aren't as kind as they can be. I will also keep your son and daughter in my prayers. I'm also a writer and I know that writing is an abiding gift from God who gives his comfort. Here is a poem I wrote a long time ago, the whole publication has such wonderful writings and photographs: http://www.sunshinepress.com/tmagic.pdf Triumphant Ruler of the Afternoon on pg. 390, I'm K. Ann :-)
